A bee farm is a systematically managed area for raising bees to produce honey efficiently and safely. A good bee farm must be located in areas with abundant flower sources, free from pollution, and far from chemicals. It requires proper hive arrangement and regular bee health monitoring.
Components of a Standard Bee Farm
Location — Honey Polyplus bee farms are situated in areas rich with diverse flowers, especially longan blossoms and wildflowers in Northern Thailand. Located far from pollution sources and agricultural chemicals, ensuring pure and safe honey production.
Hive Management — Hive placement in bee farms must consider spacing, sunlight direction, and wind patterns. Regular health monitoring of bees ensures efficient operation and disease prevention.
GAP Standards — GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) certification demonstrates proper farm management, production record-keeping, no hazardous chemical use, consumer safety, and environmental friendliness.

Processes at the Bee Farm
Bee Care — Starting with monitoring the health of queen bees and worker bees, providing supplementary feeding during flower shortage periods, controlling pests and diseases to maintain strong colonies for continuous honey production.
Harvesting — Beekeepers select only fully ripened honeycombs sealed with beeswax. Fully ripened honey has high concentration and excellent quality. It’s then immediately processed at our nearby factory to maintain freshness.
Flower Source Rotation — The bee farm plans hive relocation according to flowering seasons. For example, during December-February, hives move to longan orchards for pure longan honey. During other periods, bees collect from various wildflowers.
