LYCHEE HONEY

Lychee Honey

ychee honey is characterized by its delicate, slightly tangy aroma, with a sharp sweetness and a golden-yellow color. Over time, it may crystallize during storage. Once crystallized, it is often made into creamed honey or honey jam to be enjoyed with bread. However, the natural crystallization of honey does not affect its quality and it remains perfectly safe to consume.
At present, lychee cultivation is not limited only to the cool climate of Northern Thailand, where it grows best, but has also spread to other areas across the country with suitable conditions. Notably, it is cultivated in the lowland regions of the central area, such as Amphawa and Bang Khonthi districts in Samut Songkhram province.
